A Fresh Breeze Onboard:
The Navigator series from Wempe Chronometerwerke Maritim was created in collaboration with the Munich-based designer Hans Gabriel Schroll. Schroll’s designs are distinguished by their modern, minimalist and technically oriented styling. This new highlight from the traditional Hamburg brand was created in combination with reliable instrument-quality movements.

The Navigator instruments are available as a quartz timepiece and as a combined measuring instrument consisting of a double-aneroid barometer, thermometer and hygrometer. The massive brass and aluminium housing is 130 millimetres in diameter and has an elaborately pearl-blasted, matte nickel-plated surface. This gives the Navigator its typically noble “titanium finish.”

The dial’s design is animated by an unconventional colour scheme: the anthracite background bears an applied, dark brown, calibrated ring with white scales and white hands.

“With the Navigator series, we have found a style that we will continue to pursue while continuing to focus on classical instruments,” says Kim-Eva Wempe, fourth-generation director of the Hamburg-based business.
